New to me Aspen owner
Good Day all, just purchased my "new to me" 2007 Cool Vanilla colored Aspen with 130K miles. Needed a few minor things but I have to say, this is my first "Hemi" vehicle, and the 5.7 does not disappoint. Mileage so far is what I expect out of a v8, even with the MDS, but I love the sound so much I can't keep my foot out of it, lol. So far, thanks to the input on this forum, I have changed both front and rear shocks to the Monroe Reflex, and I bought it with the check engine light on, and all it was was a Oil Pressure Sending unit.. quick cheap easy change... and new tires... forgot how much 20"ers were... but what a beautiful, smooth riding car now. Interior needed quite a bit of cleaning due to the previous owner and "kids"... but after about 7 hours total with cleaner and touch up paint.. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.. looks and rides as good as a new one ;-) Greatest surprise was that the rims were actually chrome and not brake dust covered..
Thanks to you all for the input you add on here when it comes to tips and tricks for repairs, as well as recommendations for types of parts used. It is very helpful for guys like me that can do "most" of my own work. Keep up the great work. :-)
I know you guys have seen hundreds of them.. but here's mine anyway, ;-)
