Hello. I am a new member to this forum. I don't own a real, properly badged Chrysler vehicle. However, I do own a Chrysler designed and Chrysler-built product--I purchased a VW Routan brand new back in 2011. It's been perfectly running since I purchased it. I am joining this forum to gain advice on maintenance, especially of the Pentastar engine. I am thinking it will be time to flush the coolant this summer, etc. I still need to check the recommend maintence schedule for my Routan. But most cars it is every 30k miles or so. Anyway, I hope to learn and offer advice to all members

Start with a careful reading of the owners manual. It has recommended service intervals. The usual first change of coolant is 100,000 miles, but it's best to look it up in the manual.
