Tps problem

Default Tps problem

Hi i'm working on a 03 Chrysler town and country 3.8 and I'm not getting 5 volts from the pcm for the tps sensor it's only 3.5 to 3.7 coming out what could be the cause of it I have a new pcm (same reading as on one) ,cam/crankshaft sensor and tps.

Tps as in throttle position sensor

Start at your basic electricals , test the battery and make sure the ground connections at battery, engine block and chassis are CLEAN and tight.

How old is the battery and you need more than a volt reading..you need proper available amps also.Sounds like you need to start checking wiring for corroded connections, if I understand that other sensors are giving the same reference voltage by your posting.
Again check your ground cables from battery to motor and battery...They may LOOK ok but may be corroded on the fastening side of the eyelets. Good Luck!

I check the ground from end to end battery is new my problem is I can't get the car started and cam,crank,tps etc sensors are coming up on cell codes and they all been replaced and I check each wiring for fried or broken wires
