Volt meter probes in coil packs.

mmm thats not going to work. unless you volt meter is fast enough and can handle 50,000 volts it wont tell u anything.
Get a spark tester for auto zone or someplace like that for like 15 bucks will need the long tube adapter then it will plug into the coil then flash a lite as the engine is sparking teh plugs. |
Tested with key on and no cranking! No power to coil packs. Can you put plug in coil pack to test for spark? Auto zone had no spark testers.

u wont have power to coil pack unless the car is cranking or running thats what teh asd relay does, yeah u can u need to ground teh plug and dont get zapped

It was crankshaft position sensor.
