You forgot to mention The radio and Wipers Dont work Either...
Common Issue....Remove the steering column shrouds, and Look at the Ignition switch...You will likely find the Fat Pink wire Charred thru the connector.

Sorry...wrong.
Windshield wipers and radio WORKED. I got the solution from a post on another Q&A site.....
Fuse #14
a 5 amp-er that is labeled "Message Center". It must handle a lot more than that. It was blown. Changed it. Everything works, including the A/C.
