Default Bad FM and Satellite reception

Hello. I have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring Limited 3.5L V6. I had the Boston Acoustics Premium 6CD changer head unit. Several months ago, I noticed that my FM reception was weak. I can only receive very close local stations and they don't come in very well. I got tired of not getting any stations so, I activated the Sirius satellite. Well, the satellite channels don't come in very well either. The satellite stations all sound garbled. I did some troubleshooting and verified that both coax cables from the head unit to the rooftop antenna are good. The grey/orange wire is supplying 12 volts to the antenna base when the radio is turned on. I replaced the antenna base unit and the problem still exists. At this point, I figured the problem had to be with the head unit. I purchased a new MyGig head unit and transferred the Sirius service to the new radio. Unfortunately, the problem STILL exists. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? My FM and Satellite reception are both really bad.

I have the same problem, I have determined that the antenna cable between the wheel well and the antenna has no connection. Been trying to buy a replacement but have not been able to find anything. Chrysler 200 limited convertivle hardtop with 730n rhr radio. everything works but am/fm.
