Default 2001 chrysler sebring LX 2.4 litre 4 cylinder problems

My chrysler sebring has a miss at idle and i cant really figure it out. i went and had it scanned and the guy with the scanner said it was a pcm problem (i cant remeber which code exactly im gonna get it scanned again). the thing that gets me is its not a steady miss. it changes up and revs up a little bit and then it almost dies out then goes back to normal and then all over again. when you drive it down the road it runs farely well till you reach a steady speed then it has a slight miss again. i am kinda thinking its the EGR but just wanted to check and see if somebody knew first. its not weak on power or anything it just has a miss. mostly at idle.

that is exactly what it sounds like to me is a vaccum leak. i cant find one anywere. the only thing i can figure is the manifold gasket is leaking. thats the first thing i checked for was a vaccum leak. i m gonna check again though. i pulled the plugs and they looked good but i think im gonna replace them anyway.

Grab a roll of duct tape, and a Friend who Smokes.......

Cover the throttle body "Throat" with The tape. Pull the brake booster hose off at the booster, and Puff away into the hose...where the smoke comes out, is where the vacuum leaks In.

Just from experience, Our stuff was Intentionally designed around a specific Spark plug....Use the factory plugs....Those expensive Triple Nickel Plated Platinum Junksticks that swear they increase HP by 25 % ...DONT WORK...And your car probably will let you know That he doesnt like them ....
