Default 2008 Sebring - broken tachometer

Hi all. First post. Just finished doing the ELD5 fix for the cluster lights in my 2008 Sebring. After reinstalling the cluster, the speedo and tach were not correct (needle was way too low). Tried the calibration/self test. Did not fix it. So removed the cluster, popped off the needles and popped them back on at zero. Now the speedo works fine, but the tach seems dead. No life when car is running or in calibration/self test. Did I manage to break it when I popped off and reset the needle position? Can the white unit on the back of the cluster for the tach be replaced? Or do I just need to live with it or find another cluster? Thanks.
