Default 99 sebring convertible cuts off

Car cranks fine, but once I have driven enough that it warms up, it will lose power, I accelerate and no response from car and then it shuts down completely. Sometimes it starts back up, but this week twice it shut down for hours. I even had it towed after trying to start it for 2 hours - only for it to start after tow truck dropped it off. The problem started a couple weeks back and I replaced fuel filter - anyone had this problem?

I wonder if they pinched the fuel line while replacing the fuel filter. A restricted fuel line could behave like that.
