Default Air intake tube/throttle body Gasket part #

Need Forum's help to determine the part # or website link to obtain the air intake tube/throttle body gasket for a 2005 2.7 Sebring. This is the large oval gasket used to seal the intake of the throttle body with the end of the air intake tube (one coming from the air filter box). I can not find this gasket anywhere. My gasket is deformed on the bottom and I cannot get a good seal from the air intake tube to the throttle body mouth.

Any help appreciated.

Glenn

I have a parts catalogue for my 2001 Sebring but it does not show a gasket for that location. It appears as if the tube from the air cleaner clamps over the tubular entry to the throttle body without a gasket there. At any rate, a part number will not do you any good. Dealerships will not carry parts for your 13 year-old car, and the aftermarket people have their own part numbers.

This is a substantial gasket that fits over the air intake tube and the mouth of the throttle body to insure a air tight seal. I have noticed a large number of changes to the 2.7 engine parts over several production years particularly the PCV and air intake systems.

Plan B would involve getting the part from a U-Pick-It junkyard, or wrapping the tube with tape, and/or using a hose clamp. Come back and share your experience once you get it figured out.
