Camshaft sensor obdll p0340
Hey y'all,
i have a 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible LX 2.4l and recently had taken my vehicle to an auto shop since the engine light came on and through diagnosis the code P0340 reveals it to be: camshaft position sensor curcuit. So I took the car back since I wanted to change the sensors myself yet when I wanted to purchase the camshaft sensors through auto zone and eBay.., some indicate that the VIN-K requires 2 of the sensors?? I looked through my VIN and indeed the 10th digit contained the letter K, and I assume this refers to the engine type? Can anyone verify this? Nonetheless, if that were to be exact then where are the two camshaft sensors located then?

I had this issue with my 2003 Sebring. It ended up being a fault due to lack of oil. the NAPA "Premium" oil filters kept coming apart. the rubber seal was plugging the filter exit port and caused this code. Happened with 2 filters, Seems like it wouldn't cause it, but fixed the filter (I now only use Fram filters) and never got the code again.
