Default Drivers Window Not Working Properly

I have a weird situation. My drivers side window only rolls down when it is extremely hot inside my car. Explaination, when it is hot outside and my windows are rolled up I can get in my car and the window will roll down right away. After a while after it has cooled down outside it won't roll down. One observation is that since I listen to AM radio most of the time when it does roll down (in the heat) I get noise in my radio. Other times I get no noise in my radio. Any ideas, suggestions?

Matt

I have had controls that were heat sensitive. Usually the opposite though. (Works cold, not hot)

I would check the fuse first. The metal contacts can be affected by heat, and it is the most accessible. Follow that with the door switch, then the motor.

Also, if along the way you find any electronics (diodes, transistors, etc.) they are suspect as well.

Good hunting.
