I moved to Germany three months ago and dropped the top on my 1999 convertible for the first time since June. Well, the rear windows made all kinds of noise and stopped moving. After tearing out the back of the cabin and taking out the rear window assembly, I discovered the drive cable that raises/lowers the window is mangled. I need to replace the cables ASAP but due to my location, parts are nowhere to be found. Does anyone have access to a parts manual or can call a local dealer to tell me the part number for both rear windows? Second, does anyone know if there is an on-line parts dealer who might carry said cables?

I would try autozone.com or something, even call them. I could check it out for you if you'd like, but I no longer have my manual since they gave my car away...

 

i agree, check for corporate shops that have webpages like autozone, etc. i used to work at a CJD dealership, but i moved away, and dont have contacts here.

 

www.partsconnection.com they have everything... I got that little light gaurd for my montero sport on that website and it was like $10
