Hi, my girlfriend owns a 2009 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 v6 convertible. She's got an oil leak on the hose that goes from the valve cover to the air box, I thought pcv valve but turns out the pcv valve is up by the intake. I'm unsure what this hose is called or why it's leaking, maybe just needs a new hose? The oil isn't overfilled and hasn't been overfilled. There's pictures of the hose and the leak. Also her "electronic throttle control" light came on the other day then went back off when she restarted the car, I cleaned the throttle body but I thought maybe there's a common issue with a sensor or something. Have searched the web on both haven't found a good answer
Consider checking/replacing the PCV valve. That area should be under negative pressure if the PCV valve is working properly. Then clean and/or replace the hose and see if the problem persists.
Thank you guys I thought about the hose clamp hose does feel loose but I thought it was made to go without one, I'll probably try pcv and new hose or atleast a clamp
