Rear window defroster/ trunk key fob/convertable all stopped working
The car is a 2013 Chrysler 200 convertable
At or about the same time the convertible top started giving me top not secured error, the rear window defroster quit working (when the button is pressed the red light flashed maybe 5 times), the key fob to unlock the trunk no longer unlocks the trunk. It is weird it will deactivate the alarm if I press it, but the trunk does not open I know this because if I don't unlock the car or hit the trunk button the alarm will sound when I open it with the key. I have also tried to put the top down, thinking it might reset the sensor that was giving me the unsecured error, and about halfway down, i get an error the trunk is open (it is not) and will not go down any further. Also there is a growling noise coming from behind the glove compartment. Sounds angry or upset or maybe a growling hungry stomach. Is there one thing that could effect all of these at once? My first thought was a fuse, but these things are getting some power, the top goes partway down, the light flashes on the defroster, the key fob turns off the alarm, but doesn't open the trunk, So maybe there is a connector that sends power to the back half of the car that is unconnected?
