Default Refilling Coolant System - Proper Way?

I've just replaced the radiator on my 2001 Sebring 2.7L. The only radiator cap I see is on the coolant Reservoir.

In order to fill the system properly should I just unscrew the radiator drain plug and fill the coolant reservoir slowly while idling? Or is there a better way to refill the system (relieving air bubbles and such)?

Thanks for any tips.

You should have a bleeder screw. DOn't run the car with the system open you'll burn yourself. Trust me it doesn't feel good.

I would disagree about using the bleeder screw. The metal piece that the screw screws into is not well mounted in the plastic housing. As a result, when you attempt to turn the screw, the metal piece rotates as well, resulting in a broken bond between the piece and the housing, causing leaks. Been there, done that.
It's my opinion that the bleeder was put in there to allow the guys in the plant to fill the system quickly and bleed it then and there. The system will bleed itself after several warm-up and cool-down cycles. The DIYer is much better off not touching the bleeder screw and toppinig off the system after a couple of days of normal operation.
