Default Sebring 2 out of 3 brake lights not working

Just noticed that the 2 lower brake lights on my Sebring (sedan 2004) were not working. The top/trunk one is working. Checked one of the 2 bulbs not working and found it good --> any idea what could be wrong ? Thank you !

Go back and check the bulbs again. They have two filaments, on for the brake and one for the tail light. One filament may be working but both must be good for full operation. If the bulbs are original they are 10 years old. They are suspect.

If you are certain that the bulbs are good, then check the ground wires. Trace them to where they connect ot the body. Loosen the screw, wiggle the wire to break up any corrosion and re-tighten the screw.

Default Thank you !

Well indeed, had to go back and ended up changing both bulbs and fixing it that way ... They looked visually ok, the first one seemed ok on resistivity but replacing both fixed it ...
