unplugged wires near passenger tire
My 03 Sebring convertible began overheating a few days ago. It only take about 10 minutes for the gauge to be at red. Yesterday I was looking near the reservoir and water pump area and noticed this hanging. I can only assume it is supposed to be plugged in somewhere. Does anyone know where? It's a hard angle to see.

Is your fan coming on. If not that's probably why you are overheating. It's hard to say if that connector is related in any way. I would just plug it in and see what happens. Whatever it is it probably shouldn't be disconnected.

With "Energizer" on it, I'd bet it's part of some aftermarket device that somebody installed. Very doubtful that Chrysler put it there.
As far as overheating is concerned, there are many possible causes. The following come to mind:
Low coolant.
Improper mixture of coolant
air in system
bad radiator cap
fans nor working
plugged radiator - external or internal problem
collapsed hose
failed water pump
engine mechanical problem
When in doubt, fix the cheapest things first.

The Energizer is my flashlight. I was trying to put more light on it. I was looking through my bumber to take the picture. It's hard to get to without taking a bunch of stuff off. I've changed the temo sensor housing and I've put a new reservoir in it and still it over heat after 10 min

Does your car have fog lights. They were optional. If not that may be the plug you are seeing. If you don't have fog lights you would just have a plug with nothing to connect it to. Did you check to see if your fans are running. That's the first thing you should check if you are overheating.
