Default 2002 300m aftermarket stereo...

hi, im new to this so im hopeing this works, i dont knwo where else to turn. i recently bought a nice expensive stereo and had no time to hook it up. so my friend told me he would do it for me while i was at work.. i let him.. stupid me.. well let me sum up what he did. he cut the wire cluster and twist tied all the wires he THOUGHT went to certain stuff. i dont know how he figured that since the wires are all different colors.

so last weekend i took **** into my own hands since iv done a few stereos. looked up online what colors in my car ment what, and came to the conclusion i have it hooked up right. this is the wire codes i got so correct me if im wrong and thats my problem (obviously).

Right front (+)Violet
Right front (-)Blue / Red
Right rear (+)Blue / White
Right rear (-)Blue / Orange

Left front (+)Dark Green
Left front (-)Brown / Red
Left rear (+)Brown / Yellow
Left rear (-)Brown / Light Blue

i had everything else hooked up right or the Cd player would be fried by now. but anyways i have these all hooked up like that to my CD player but no sound from my speakers. I have read of many other cases like this but i dont know what to do about it. [&:]

ANY help would be nice. thanks
