Default 2005 300 Limited no horn/no evic buttons

First, hello! I'm new, nice to meet all of you.

Second, I know your saying "ugh, cmon newb, replace your clockspring and get out of here"

Believe me, I have, four times.

So after the fourth, i decided to sign up and ask the professionals.

I recently bought this 2005 300 limited in super mint condition. the only problem, the turn signals didnt shut off after you turn the corner. did some googling. found it was the clock spring. ordered it up. replaced it. turn signals shut off, all was well.

at least i thought it was, until i got a call from the mrs saying she couldnt use her horn or buttons anymore. some more googling brought me to believe i some how ordered the wrong one, or messed up the install of the clockspring. so i ordered a different kind. installed it. same thing. then another different brand. same thing. and again.

ive pulled the fuses for the scm. ive pulled the fuses for the radio. ive checked the connector. i believe i have checked most of the basic stuff. no matter what i do, no horn. no buttons, and if i hook up the computer, it tells me the airbag has a fault as well.

as you know if you're reading this and know whats up, there are two sides to the SCM connector in the column. The side that is the clockspring, which has your airbag, horn and buttons....and the other side is the cruise control and windsheild wipers. the "other" side, windshield wipers etc works like a champ. the dang clockspring side doesnt work at all.

i am stumped. if anyone can point me in the right direction i would super appreciate it.

They both worked prior. That's why I've tried replacing it four times now.
