Default 2014 300c heat/cool issue

I get cool air on driver side and warm air on passenger side in heat mode. Air conditioning mode all vents work properly. Channeling thru all the modes produces the same result. NO clicking sound from under dash.
What is the problem? Something I can repair myself or get robbed at the dealership?

I had the same problem with my VW Routan minivan, which is basically Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
I took it to the local auto shop. If I remember correctly they said that actuator (if this is the right term) or some kind of part that controls airflow went bad.
It cost me $180 to replace the part.

Are you referring to when the HVAC system is operating in auto temp control and/or A/C mode? If so the A/C refrigerant charge is a little low(may have a small system leak). Conversely if you have been "topping up" the A/c refrigerant, there may be too much put into the system and this will also affect cooling efficiency.

Thank you! I am getting OLD...forgot about that one, And I was a participant! One of these days I'll also remember that certain FCA vehicles were early users of the new formulation refrigerant! Too bad no follow up on the other issues with the system were addressed.

There's nothing wrong with the freon charge. This appears to be an actuator issue.

In troubleshooting automotive problems it's well to remember the classic rules:

1. simple/obvious things first.
2. electro-mechanical things second.
3. if you have to throw parts at the problem you need competent professional help.

Hi Vakmere, I would suggest for you to check with some one that has experience with r1234yf refrigerant. I Tried local shops with no resolution 5th one was a charm. That's what ended up solving my issue low refrigerant . Before I had switch both actuators on passenger side, a sunload sensor and ambient sensor with no luck. I had posted that thread in June. Now one of the new actuators went out.. my luck!
