Default Chrysler 300 Rims - 2006 Touring

Question: the chrome on my rims is flaking off revealing a shiny black rim underneath which looks better than a plasti-dip finish would look. Will this finish hold up to the elements or is it susceptible to corrosion?

Thanks

"Will this finish hold up to the elements....?"

Did it ever occur to you that no one here knows the answer to your question? People here are not real good at predicting the future. If they were, they wouldn't be here, they'd be busy playing the stock market.

Not quite. Knowing Chrysler has had widespread issues with these crappy rims shedding their chrome plating, I figured others would have discovered the gloss black finish beneath it and preferred it over other alternatives. I guess not.
