Max Care Nightmare.
Hello fellow car guys and gals. I had a power torque transmission installed. I am still driving the car. I feel this new motor and transmission performs just a well if not better than the original. I have not forgotten about the let down I received even after having every issue I had with the car addressed at a Chrysler Dodge dealership. With all this attention it seems very unlikely that any inspections that needed to be done were not performed. Remember that I have all sorts of invoices showing the repairs I received from Chrysler were covered under my Maxcare lifetime warranty. So this company is telling me that they installed all the parts I needed and paid for all the labor involved even though they say they have no record of any of the 5 year inspections being done. I spoke to a manager at the facility that assured me any an all inspections were done as required. So you have a company that installed countless parts all without confirming that these mysterious, and not spoken of inspections being performed. Not one person ever in any manner written or verbal mentioned these five year inspections when I purchased the warranty. In recent years this company has denied multiple claims because they indicated the inspections were not performed. One interesting fact that was brought to my attention was many people have had the same experience as I have and that this issue will be decided in court.

Update I am having a strange issue of stalling when I pull to a stop sign or to the end of a driveway, this also happens when reversing from a parking spot. Sometimes it begins to misfire or lose spark or something. Sometimes it seems like it is trying to run on 4 cylinders when it should not be. I have done some research and I see that others have had this issue. In a couple videos it seems to have simply been some wiring connections issues. From time to time I feel like the car is trying to shut down even when driving, this is only a momentary jerking feeling and the car keeps running. I have seen people replace almost every oxygen sensor they have along with EGR to no avail. . I have seen where it could be a faulty PCM. Either way it is a bit unnerving not knowing when this stall will happen. On a positive note when things are running smoothly it is a great ride. The power is a little addicting even in this configuration. I can not imagine what it would be like driving a 392 or Hellcat. Mine is plenty of fun both in the handling and acceleration department. I have a few extras built in from the factory as in, better steering gear, performance exhaust and suspension. Even the transmission was tuned a little stronger. This is because it is a Heritage Edition. I recently had a new radiator and starter installed through my warranty. Yes I have taken the car back to the dealer that installed my new engine. I am very thankful for my warranty. I have not filed a lawsuit, as of yet, because they are working with me on replacing covered parts under my MaxCare Lifetime Warranty.
