About a week ago my 2012 Chrysler 300 S (140k miles) wouldn’t start. No noise, no turning over, nothing! Radio and all electronics work, but no start. Replaced the battery as it was already 4 years old, didn’t help. Put a new starter in, still no difference, but the starter got pretty hot. I took it out and put it back in, not hot anymore, but still won't start. Also tried a new starter and ignition relays, didn't help.
Code P0850 says it's the Park/Neutral switch. My question is, where is that switch located and it is an easy fix? Is this the same thing as the TCM? Could there be other issues? Thank you in advance!!!
I found what I believe to be the neutral safety switch on the drivers side of the trans. Called NAPA, AutoZone, Advanced Auto and O'Reilly's, none of them have this part. It's not out of stock, they don't carry it at all. Neutral Switch
