Looks like a factory defect to me. TNtech...do you have the bulletin on this issue? I got the extended warranty just for problems like this!

 

Not to many years ago, and it may even still be true, but you had a 25% chance of getting a car that would require repairs before the vehicle had exceeded the mileage limit for warranty repairs.
Anything mass produced, designed or built by humans, has the potential for flaws.

I actually own two Caddies of a version of Cadillac that almost put Cadillac out of business. Cadillac Cimarrons. They were voted the 8th worst car ever built by multiple auto magazines.
I may even have the only two that still run, as I have never seen another one on the road.
My point is every company has bugs get through the inspectors, or design ideas that just do not work out as planned.
