I'm not discouraged about fuel prices yet, I think it's more of the speculators that are driving the price up than anything. The speculators voice that the price is gonna go up, and the oil companies say... Hmmmm let's make their wish come true.I think it's just a matter of time, and the price of fuel will come down, not to what it was, but dropped somewhat.

The high gas prices not only hurt your wallet , it also hurts the resale value if you are trading down to something smaller . There are dealerships that won't allow the larger suvs as trade ins . In your first year of ownership the Aspen will lose 40% of its value and if thats not bad enough , on 6/11/2008 the Chrysler plant in Newark , DE was put up for sale. This is were the Aspen /Durango are made. The prodution for the Aspen / Durango is scheduled to end at the end of 2009 if this happens you will really lose BIG .

Not me, but I bought the Aspen because I needed the space and something to tow with. So, I don't dwell on it because I did not really have a choice. When I bought it I knew what the mileage was going to be, so, I cannot really be upset about it.

$4 isnt bad compared to most places in the World. I drive 15 miles, to and from work, Wal Mart once a week, and golf courses four or so times cost me about $50 to fill my Cavalier every few weeks, so no gas isnt that bad
If you think gas is high, that maybe you shoudnt contribute to the high price, by buying a fuel sucker that overall increases demand for gas even more, causing you to complain more and more

The only thing that increases the demad is the speculators on Wall street and the media that covers it and the producers that want a profit in the billions....[sm=headbang.gif]
