gasoline belch

Default gasoline belch

Every time I fill my tank with automatic shut-off, gasoline pours out all over the car (like a belch). Is this related to pressure build-up in the fuel tank? Any ideas?

I have noticed the same thats why I keep an eye on it now as I am filling.

With our 2007 Aspen we have never had that issue.

Default Gas belch

We bought a 2007 Aspen recently, the gas belch has now happened to us the last 3 times, does anyone have any suggestions?

Must be the way/angle you guys are putting the nozzle in the filler, I dunno.
I have never had ours spit back at all.

We are having the same problem with our 2008....have an appointment scheduled for next Wednesday so they can see what is going on...
