i have an 05 pacifca thats having erratic idle and it wants to rev up when braking and fights the brakes and it also wants to take off and rev to about 2k rpm when coming off the brakes i have changed the tps iac valve and the egr valves cannot find any vaccum leaaks at all someone suggested the alternator and it dose have erratic charging it jumps around when tested with my battery charger i just really dont want to spend another 200 to have the issue remain i just wanted to get some input on the alternator idea any help would be greatly appreciated

 

There is a vac line from the brake booster make sure its not split anywhere to teh intake

 

i went with your advice and checked the vac line from the brake booster and i didnt see anything but i discovered another symptom it only acts up when its moist or raining outside it acts just fine on a average day
