so this afternoon started the truck went for a drive .. about 10 min later check engine turned on. So continued to drive went to get oil for a oil change thought maybe that was the problem since it's past due maybe 200-250 km (maybe more )we just recently bought the car from a garage and asked the dude if it was synthetic oil or conventional oil and he didn't know so we just put the conventional oil in after that plug a code reader had the p0452 code says Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input
so erased the code
driving back home the engine was starting to heat up, making weird noises almost like we had a bus when slowing down to a red light and the check engine turned back on ! also the truck smells like oil alot

 

I have found that that particular code is from either the fuel cap or oil cap is not seated correctly. Take it off and put it back on taking care that its not cross threaded. In some cases the fuel cap needs replaced. This is an easy fix. Good luck.
