Default 2005 Chrysler Pacifica: Charging issues: Voltage Regulator:

I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica that has a blown Voltage Regulator. Unfortunately the regulator is part of the main computer and is pricy to replace especially, with the age of this vehicle. I purchased an exterior voltage regulator (Part #: ERCKFRM at www.alternatorparts.com - Phone #: 616-785-7990) and can not find a good “Switched Ignition Source” to connect my 12 gauge wire that powers my Voltage Regulator. With the wiring schematic / diagram that was provided to me. I connected it to a 10A fused wire # 30 under / outside of my Integrated Power Module. I am still not charging. I have to admit I don’t really understand some schematics / diagrams too well. Did I just connect to the wrong wire? Also, could I have a bad fusible link, if this vehicle even has one? Any help greatly appreciated.
