2006 Chrysler Pacifica issues
My check engine light is on it wants to stall/jerk/buck so I will give it the gas so it will keep going, when I come to a stop right before I park it wants to accelerate or when I come to a light it will just die. I am afraid to drive it. Any advice??

YES, take it to a major auto parts store like autozone ,Advance Auto or such that offers FREE code scans when the check engine light is on. Post the code(s) that they retrieve from the cars computer and we then can help you in figuring out what is going on. Many things can cause the symptoms you describe, but the cars computer stores codes of what it sees that is causing that light to come on.

You can also check the stored codes by turning the ignition on and off 3 times (just turn the key till the dash lights up, DO NOT START). It will then display the P codes(s) where the Trip Odometer is displayed.

P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Bank 1
P0420 code means that the vehicle's control module has detected that the three-way catalytic converter is not working properly (is not as efficient as the factory is expecting). Replacing the oxygen (O2) sensors may sometimes fix the code, but in most cases the catalytic convert needs to be replaced to fix the problem. If the P0420 code is combined with other codes, try fixing the other codes first.

First of all ... thank you so much for being there, and helping all of us out!
I figured it out and here's what I got and what the website you suggested shows:
P0499 CHRYSLER
NVLD Vent Valve Solenoid Circuit High
Possible causes:
- Faulty NVLD Vent Solenoid
- NVLD Vent Solenoid harness is open or shorted
- NVLD Vent Solenoid circuit poor electrical connection
Can I fix this myself? Any thoughts?

That will depend on your skill/comfort level working on your own vehicle, tools required or have on hand, etc....
Also, the 3 key turning method to retrieve the stored code(s) doesn't clear them out. For that, you will need a OBD II Code reader (available for free use form various places (in the US at least) like your local O'Rilies, NAPA, etc.). So keep in mind that even if you replace the part yourself, the code will still be there until you clear it, or have it cleared.
Run a search on YouTube for "2004 Pacifica NVLD Vent Solenoid replacement" (or similar parameters, you may need to add the engine size you have) to see if this is something you want to attempt to do yourself, or if a shop should do the work.
Over the years, I've found TONS of videos relating to working on the Pacifica!!
CHEERS!!
