Question Joined the Pac world

Hey yall. After a month of looking i finally bought an 06 Touring AWD. I got lucky with it being a single owner with 107k. My question is how in the world does this car NOT have auto headlights? My 02 Jeep GC and 96 Lexus have it. I did notice there is no "Auto" option on the lever but the sensor is there right in the middle of the climate controls. I looked in the manual and cut the car off with the lights on (at night) and they never went off. What gives?

I just leave mine on most the time. The BCM directly controls them (not even a separate fuse or relay for headlights in Pacs) and shuts them off after 20 minutes or so, just like your interior lights.
