Default Oil Pressure light

My Wife's , 2006 Chrysler Pacfica's low oil pressure light comes on when she is either slowing down or stopped, should i be concerned and how can i go about changing it?

Try replacing the sending unit. Make sure the passage leading to it is not obstructed. If that doesn't fix the problem, get a gauge hooked up and check the actual oil pressure to make sure it's not actually low. Low oil pressure, if not corrected, can ruin the engine.

Mine was just the switch and was replaced. Not easy access so I had someone do it instead.

FWIW Use only an OEM sending unit/switch. Have had issues more than once with aftermarket sensors.
