I love this van. It's listed for around 22K and I'm worried that it will need work being that it's so high mileage. The dealership won't budge on the price, as they think it's a fair price. It is a fair price for the van, but with the mileage that high, I'm worried about things failing sooner than later and this becoming a 28K used van with 100K miles on it at the end of the driving year. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

 

I'd get a carfax on it and look at the service records. Likely it's mostly highway miles but you'll be able to tell if it was a private or fleet vehicle too. 73K is not all that high these days. 30 yrs ago it would be considered very high mileage. Not so these days.

 

Thank you for the reply! Carfax looks really good. Recalls have been cleared and routine maint. Has been done. It was offered as a pre-owned cert. vehicle before being sold to my local dealership. Thats the only thing that looked odd to me. If course, i dont know what what done thats not on the carfax, but it felt great when i drove it.
