Default Reb turtle of death

At the end of a recent road trip the ‘red turtle of death’ made us pull over and lose power FOUR times. Initially the dealership told us this was a known problem and the transmission would be replaced under warranty. Now they are saying they can’t replace unless they can reproduce the problem (which they haven’t been able to do). Now we have to take back the car and I’m scared to drive it with my family. Going from 70 to 0 on the highway was terrifying!! Especially with my kids in the car.
any suggestions on how to reproduce the problem so it can get fixed?? Or how to get them to just do the work they already acknowledged needed to be done?
