Got an ongoing issue on my car, it is a fuelling issue, and it also has a definite noise. Whilst sitting idle, the engine goes through a cycle, and from under the front left seat, you can hear a 'purging' or a cannister 'charging'. Whilst it does this, the engine labours a little. When driving, on initial acceleration, the engine picks up well, then labours, so if you pull out of a junction in the wrong gear, the car will struggle to keep speed or accelerate.

The car has had a new fuel pump module, but the fault eminates from before then. Occasionally, the car runs good.
