2000 Voyager 2.0 le back brakes binding

Unhappy 2000 Voyager 2.0 le back brakes binding

Hi, my husband has ajusted the handbrake and now the back brakes are binding, he loosened them off, I have just taken it for a MOT retest and the guy said when he applied the handbrake the brakes are binding on again. He sujested it might be the calipa. I would be realy grateful for anyones advice on what and how to solve, regards Sam.

It sounds like the brake mechanism in the rear drum needs a good clean, also inspect the return springs.
