Fixit,

Sorry, I got sidetracked from all this several weeks ago. One last thing before I pull the radio. On the "setup" menu on the DVD, there is an option for "Digital Output". The choices are "PCM" and "Bitstream". It is set to bitstream, and it does not seem that I can change it. I don't think that can be the problem, but I wanted to double check to be sure.

Sorry, forgot to do this. Mine is

Bitstream and Audio DRC (dynamic range compression) is "level2" Don't think the DRC would matter for your problem.

I think you are going to have to yank the changer and check that both connectors are on the changer and also the 10 pin connector is on the radio. Maybe unplug and plug back in and check.
