Default 2005 Town& country Brakes making noise

2005 Town and country 31000 miles, Noise coming from left rear wheel when hiting bumps on road sounds like a loose fender but its quiet when the brake is applied. so i would imagine 1 of the shoes is loose, at this mileage should the rotors be turned down or replaced or left alone, they look or should get new pads and let them go no squeak from rotors brakes feel good LOOSE PAD PISSING OFF MY WIFE, guess who gets yelled at, Thanks everyone.

31k U dont want to replace one set of pads u will have a brake pull unequal of brake power being applied one will grab better as well. Turn the rotors and replace the pads. There is no drum brakes on mini vans any more =) all disk. What makes brakes make noise is when they are applied the pad moves in the caliper assembly and rubbs on the caliper bracket. This is why they have aiti squeel plates on the outside of them. Low pad will decrease the distance the anti squeel shim makes contact with the caliper bracket.

Thanks Chrysler Tech, i will do both sides, but the noise is not from the clip on the pad i believe its from pad being loose in the caliper, I,m not sure what pads do you recomend cermaic, or something else.

Never reinstall worn brake components of any kind. I would suggest installing new chrysler brake pads onto the caliper. It's also a good idea to use a high-qualitybrakefluid. A better fluid will have a higher boiling temperature and will be more resistant to fade.
