2005 Voyager - Can't find source of Front end knocking noise
Hi there,
The Voyager has developed a front end knocking that increases in frequency when speed increases. At first we thought it could be a wheel bearing, but on the ramp they're tight with no play (and no noise on ramp). Next thought it may be something stuck in the breaks - nothing there. Lastly we thought it could possibly be the drivers side front drive shaft although we've had the car on the ramp, run the engine and when the wheels aren't touching the ground there's no noise at all?
What are we missing?
Anyone out there got any suggestions as to what to look for next?

Testing for bad CV joints:
Turn the steering wheel all the way in one direction and drive in a circle. Then turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction and drive in a circle. If one of the CV joints is bad, you will hear/feel any irregular noises or knocking. Also depending on which direction the noise appears will isolate which CV is bad.
For wheel bearings it's normally a hum/whirring noise you'll hear at certain speeds. Gets increasingly noticeable at varying speeds with increasing wear.
Anti roll bar links and sway bars normally knock at low speeds i believe.
