Default 2013 T&C Fobs both stopped working

I bought my 2013 T&C touring a few months back.
when i got it, there was only one fob and a valet key with it. the fob that came with it had inoperable buttons but started the van.
I bought 2 new fobs on amazon (ad said chrysler replacements but were only 100 for the pair) and had the dealer program them. they have worked fine for 3 months.
2 days ago, one of them stopped working, i changed the battery and it still didnt work. The other one I bought worked fine so i started using it and later that day, it also stopped working.
now neither of them work.
any tips or tricks to get them working again? they both still start the van but none of the buttons work on either of the fobs. its driving me nuts!
i have been on this site for 2 days trying to find an answer. nothing so far.
thanks in advance.
jason

man, theres alot of topics on this but still havent found an answer yet. ive been reading for a week.
is there a receiver somewhere in the van for the fobs? maybe it went bad.
the one key worked for a month and died then the 2nd one worked for a day and quit as well. i put new batteries in them both,
so frustrating...

Sorry to say, but in my opinion the key/fob of this generation of ban in the USA are JUNK. The actual ignition function WILL work, but the board for remote functions are separate of the ignition function and are poorly made for "real world" use. There are LOTs of threads about this problem and a recent(1 month ago) posting to the thread has pics of the problem with the remote function noard under the push pads. Try looking it up and you may find out some good info !

I am definitely in the same boat with my 2013 Town and Country, I bought mine used from a dealer, 1 1/2 years ago without a working key fob but ignition still worked just not the buttons. Well I bought some refurbished ones from ebay with Chrysler electronics in the fob that quit working in 2 or 3 months been without for a while now but had the thought to buy an aftermarket key fob with aftermarket electronics. Soon I will get those programmed via third party programmer and see how that does, maybe the problem is Chrysler's electronics like Rebel59 said.
