accelerator pedal sensor
Not having much luck getting responses on my threads, but I'll try again. my 2014 town and country 3.6 vvt seems to run fine but out of nowhere it will go into limp with many multiple codes. It has a new battery, alternator, throttle body and accelerator pedal, but still getting the red lightning bolt and limp intermittently. Reading the voltage as % with my scan tool, the accelerator pedal sensors D and E have not changed since replacing the pedal assembly. D remains constant at idle at 8.24, but E bounces back and forth between 4.2-3.5 and flashes 0.00 for milliseconds. Should there be the E sensor variation? is it possible that with enough flashes to 0.00, the ECU throws limp? If the pedal assembly was changed out and readings are exactly as before, would the ECU itself be suspect?
