Default Airbag p1200 no front left impact sensor communication

As title this is the fault coming up resulting in my airbag light on .

Any one no what I need to do to fix this ..

there was a recall for certain years for this (at least in the UK) as water and crud were getting into the connector. Might be worth checking with a dealer if your one needs it.

Failing that it's a case of testing the wiring, cleaning the connectors and as a last resort replacing the sensor

Hi Chrysler say my vehicle has had the work done for the recall but couldn't tel me when and where .

Could you tel me which sensor it is and where it's located

so im guessing bumper off .. disconnect battery wait half hour or so to discharge system .

first thing to check is the plugs and wiring if still no joy does anyone no the part numbers of the sensors so i can replace

no need to get the bumper off if i remember correctly, just the underneath bit

So it says front left .. would that be drivers or passenger lol because it could be either depending which way your looking at car lol ..

for me left is passenger side and right is driver side!, I always take references to left and right as if you are sitting in the drivers seat and NOT facing the front of the car.
