Default RE: Atf+3 (or +4) tranny oil or substitute

I recently had the trans rebuilt in my 2001 TC 3.8l van. The Aamco tech filled it with some sort of tranny fluid/additive mix. They told me it makes the fluid like synthetic. Did they use the wrong fluid? and Should I take it back and have them change it? I would hate to have my $3500 tranny die again.
Thanks,
-Jared

The only fluid known safe to use in DC trannies is ATF+4. The conversion fluids are known to eat the clutch material and ruin the transmission. The fluid/filter needs to be completely removed and replaced with ATF+4 immediately, before more damage is done to your transmission.
