Backwards seatbelt
I just bought a 2005 Touring, and I kept thinking something was off about the driver's side seatbelt. I looked at it today, and the the latch is backwards, it faces in, but should face out. Obviously I have no idea how to get the belt off to pull the latch, turn it around, and put it back together. Is this as simple as it seems it should be? Should I just ask the dealer to repair it since I just bought it. I can't imagine I could claim this is a warranty issue?
Thanks.
Thanks.
by the latch u mean the buckle the part that u pull and lock into the seat lock??
Thats something u can do . First pull down the webbing fast so that it locks down like it would if u were stopping fast. Then u can fold the lower half of the webbing and pull the latch downso that it will pull itself through the fold and keep pulling it bit by bit untill it will right itself the correct way.
