Is it possible? Had to get balancing weights removed from my alloys as they were fitted on the inside for cosmetic reasons (by the fitter). Even 2-3mm thickness was catching on the caliper.

That was with standard discs, calipers and alloys when I got the tyres changed. Had to go back and get the weights removed, and the wheels rebalanced with weights on the outside. There's not much clearence in there.
Others may know of something, but I'm guessing uprated discs and pads might be the best you could hope for.
