Default Clutch / Power problem

Hi, I have a UK Grand Voyager (2004) 2.8 Diesel 5 speed Manual.

The problem is whenI reachapprox 2k - 2.5krevs in 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear the revs rise but the speed does not! feels like a slipping clutch but it does not happen all the time. The mileageis 40k. What are your views? is this a common problem? should a clutch lastlonger than 40k?

I was also checking out eBay for a Tech/Manual Cd but it appears they only go up to 2003, any ideas for obtaining a 2004 upwards Cd for Win XP.

Great site with loads of top tips. Thanks from a newbie.
ps
feel in love with the Grand Voyager after a visit to the US the main reason for buying one on my return to the UK
