Default does rear temp control mean rear a/c?

I see references to various types of controls and dual a/c, etc.

My 2003 T&C has a temp control on the ceiling for the rear passengers to control. It has no a/c button just a hot to cold temp **** and fan speed.

In the front there is a passenger side temp control and driver side temp control.

This doesn't mean dual a/c does it?

I'm needing to replace the a/c compressor and want to make sure I have the correct items for my vehicle.

Do you have a Rear fan switch on the dashboard????

The hot cold control in the rear has got me......They usually are designed so that the rear mimics whatever setting the DRIVER control is using.....

That being said...There is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE IN COMPRESSORS between the two.....

Look under the hood at the expansion valve....if the tubes "TEE" off and run under the vehicle, you have rear AC...if you dont have silver tubes under the vehicle and the expansion valve does NOT TEE OFF..then you do not have rear AC.....

The only difference between the two is obviously the extra plumbing, and The charging capacity.....
