Default Drain fuel tank

My '94 GV finally gave up the ghost (tranny and oil pump in one shot), of course it happened just after we filled up the tank. Before I send it off to the junk yard I'd like to get out as much of the fuel as possible. I tried putting a hose down the filler neck, but something is blocking it. I managed to get a 1/4" hose to go down enough to get out 1/4 tank, but that still leaves 3/4 tank in there.

Any ideas?

I tried looking up underneath to find where the filler hose connects to the tank, but it seems to be a solid metal line from the tank up as far as I can see. Wasn't sure about the wisdom of drilling a hole into the tank, but I'm sure that would tick off the junk yard as well.

Default RE: Drain fuel tank

well you would have to either drop the fuel tank and get it out through the fuel pump opening or drill a hole into the tank. choice is yours but i would just drill the hole.
