I bought my wife a used 2011 T&C in January. Yesterday the second driver's seat fuse blew since we have owned the car. I have never blown a driver's seat fuse before, let alone twice in less than a year. Obviously there must be something else wrong. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is as the blown fuse is just a symptom of a deeper issue?

 

Connector under the seat would be my first suspect to question. If not there, then the connector at the control switches themselves.

 

When my wife got home last night the fuse blew as soon as I put the new one in.

 

disconnect the plug under the seat, then use a meter or install a new fuse. If it doesn't blow then you can narrow down the short back to the plug itself or the wiring harness in the seat itself.
